HAIFA MAGEN DAVID ADOM EMERGENCY CENTER

During the Second Lebanon War in the summer of 2006 , Magen Daviv Adom emergency services with their ambulances rushed to various scenes of rocket strikes – were operated from an inadequate headquarters.

The enlargement and upgrading of the basement underneath the Haifa's MDA's sreet level headquarters into the Haifa Magen David Adom Emergency center is an absolute top priority for life-saving purposes.

HAIFA CRISIS MANAGEMENT CONTROL CENTER

Under the severe conditions that prevailed during the Second Lebanon War, the hotel venue pressed into service as Municipal Emergency Headquarters proved to be wholly inadequate. The upgrading of these headquarters into a Crisis Management Control Center is The City of Haifa's absolute top priority for life-saving purposes in the event of another war or in the context of a terrorist attack, accident of catastrophic proportions, hazardous chemical episode, or natural disaster such as an earthquake. The proposed state-of-the-art headquarters will enable city officials to provide for real-time assessment during a disaster and to coordinate provision of emergency services to residents throughout Haifa. The center will also serve as a crisis-management model for other cities.
