This currently neglected area is situated between Hecht Park in the north and Dado beach Promenade to the south.

The area is characterized by the proximity of the mountain to the sea. Hard chalk rocks meet the water creating a marine habitat rich in plant and animal life.

The Chof Hacarmel Promenade project will link the existing promenade and Park, creating a continuous recreational strip along Haifa's beaches, suitable for walking, cycling, and surfboarding.

The plan includes environmental sculptures made by the famous sculptor, MICHA ULLMAN, in the shape of Aqueduct and Quarry.
